I have the mach 460 series system with a sony aftermarket amp. One speaker not working should be a speaker problem. If there is still no sound further troubleshooting is needed. One speaker not working or distorted this is probably a bad speaker.

The mustang mach 460 speakers in the coupe and convertible models uses 2 5 inch speakers in the front for high frequency signals and 5 5 by 7 5 inch speakers in the front for low frequency signals. The speaker dimensions are 5 5 x 7 5. In the rear the coupe uses 2 5 inch speakers for high frequency and 5 5 by 7 5 inch speakers for low frequency.

I just recently discovered i have 2 stock amps and im lost to finding the problem. Buy a new ford mach 460 lower door speaker for 1994 2004 mustangs from cj pony parts. The tweeters are fine its the ones in the door pannel that no sound comes out of. This speaker is a direct replacement for all 1994 2004 mustangs that came factory with mach 460 speakers.
